I wanted to write a letter to say how thankful I am for your services.
After being diagnosed with sleep apnea, I was prescribed a CPAP machine. I struggled with wearing this for over two years trying several different masks. Not only could I not get a good night sleep, due to the discomfort of the CPAP, but I suffered from constant sinus infections. Nnot being able to wear the CPAP created another problem for me at work. My job requires me to have a CDL license and in order to maintain that license, you have to be treated for the sleep apnea. Due to the fact that I couldn't wear the CPAP, and was not being treated, I was in danger of losing my license which would cause me to lose my job. I had the appliance for about two months when my doctor ordered another sleep study in which I wore the appliance. I was thrilled with the results! ...and it revealed I was at a normal level. The TAP© works better for me as the CPAP was constantly waking me up due to leakage and squeaking.
I sleep on my side and when I'd move around, the mask would move and the seal would be broken. The squeaking would wake me and I would spend time repositioning my mask. The TAP gives me no trouble; it actually works best when I'm on my side. I love it. Margery Comb
Because of my obstructed sleep apnea, my sleep even with the CPAP machine was really bad. With the appliance, my CPAP pressure and high number count was reduced and I sleep better - and I'm now in the bedroom with my wife after 25 years of problem snoring.

The Tap II appliance has been a great help to my health. It has given me excellent rest in my night sleep. My snoring has stopped. From using the appliance, my blood pressure has reduced. I have been on the same blood pressure medicine for the last five years. Since using the appliance I am more alert during the day. I was experiencing tiredness and lack of energy. My doctor recommended I complete a sleep study at the local hospital. The results showed that I had moderate to severe sleep apnea. The recommendation was to purchase and use the CPAP machine. I tried valiantly to use the CPAP but was unsuccessful due to severe headaches which would set in after using the CPAP for about two hours.
I was referred to Dr. Urban for a mouth-guard device which moves my lower jaw forward while I sleep to open up the air passage. I've had significant success with this device. My energy level is much higher and I no longer feel exhausted by mid-day. Dr. Urban takes his time with me and makes sure adjustments are made to the mouthguard in increments to avoid any discomfort. The mouth-guard had to be re-made to get a better fit at no additional cost to me. This also required more office visits with Dr. Urban, also at no additional cost.
